If you’re a fan of Metroid remixes you’ll be glad to know that Metroid Orchestrated has released two more tracks: the item theme from Prime, and Crateria from Super Metroid.

Metroid: Other M game breaking glitch and how to avoid it

If you’re one of the unfortunate few that found yourself stuck in sector 3 Nintendo is offering a solution that will “save” your save file from the corruption.

If you are experiencing this issue, we are able to resolve it by fixing your save data. For instructions on how to set up a repair by sending us your save file on an SD card, or for other options, please call 1-800-255-3700. Representatives are available from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm (PST) seven days a week.

In addition they have released information on exactly what causes the glitch and what you should do to avoid it if you haven’t reached that point in the game. Details can be found on their support website.

Prime Tastic

If you’ve been on the border about getting the Metroid Prime Trilogy the decision may soon be out of your hands if you want a new copy. Nintendo has stopped publishing the game but you can still find it in resell stores. On the other hand if you live in the UK you’re in luck, Nintendo has confirmed that they are still publishing it there. We’ve also got more scenes from the Prime series from Kasper Tromp in the Metroid Gallery so be sure to check them out. On top of that Luis has devised a theory to explain some of the plot holes in the Prime subseries so be sure to give it a read.

We’ve got more amazing artwork from Kasper Tromp in the metroid gallery. Hold onto your hat for a moment; Metroid Reorchestrated a site dedicated to remixing metroid soundtracks, is online and they’ve already remixed six themes! My personal favorite is their remix of the metroid 2 main theme. Be sure to keep your eye tuned to their site. (Thanks for the tip Philip!)
