Out of ALL the Metroid games, which place creeped you out the most?

For me, it would have to be the GFS Valhalla. I honestly got creeped outwhen I first saw dead GF troops, and then when I saw the swarm of Miniroids I nearly crapped. Then I look out the window and see THOUSANDS of Phazon Metroids. After that, I open that pressure door thing, and a trooper just floats out. FINALLY, I go in the final room, and I get that creepy message from AU 313.
what about you guys?
btw on my post icon, what exactly was this? I know it was those things on the wrecked ship, but what were they? Were they like, power things??

Yes, if you looked out the windows of the GFS Valhalla, you'll see giant swarms of Phazon Metroids floating around the ship. You can also see a swarm of them in Elysia around the lab where you first encounter them. I think the Valhalla is probably the creepiest I've been, too.
The icon thing is a Pulse Bombu.

The Space Pirate Research Labs, (Right after getting the thermal visor). The fact that metroids are bursting out of their containment is scary enough, not to mention the Shadow Pirates everywhere. Having to wear the Thermal Visor really makes everything worse. I mean, who WASN'T scared the first time they had to go through that?
The Phazon Mines, in that one room where the Elite Pirate breaks out of the containment thing and you're in a small area. Well, that's more scary than creepy, since you're fighting a powerful enemy in a small area.
GFS Valhalla too. That place scares the hell out of me. And probably most people.

I honestly wasn't intimidated by the SA-X, especially after watching the stupid SA-X videos. I remember this one time where I jumped down from my hiding spot, froze it, and escaped laughing.
Playing Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, and in some areas, Metroid Prime 3 in the middle of the night while everyones asleep, however, scares the hell out of me. Just the scans alone do it, nevermind the creatures.

There's nothing that actually scares me in a Metroid game; however, there are some intense spots which can (or at least, did) get my heart racing. The first would easily be any time you encounter the SA-X; it was my first Metroid game, and that thing always made me a little jumpy. And the second place would be the Phendrana Drifts labs. Again, I wouldn't actually call them scary, but I would certainly be a little more cautious when travelling through the area.

The original's Tourian. Metroids are easy enough to dispatch of once you get in the rhythm, but the first time I played through was overwhelmingly terrifying (especially because I made the mistake of dropping down the first shaft as quickly as I could, instead of taking it one platform at a time).
