Web Comics

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, is anyone else into any web comics? I thought I'd throw up a few here that I particularly enjoy:

For general stuff with something of a geek theme: http://xkcd.com/

A twisted take on a classic game: http://www.nuklearpower.com/2001/03/02/episode-001-were-going-where/

And for anyone who knows anything about D&D (or anyone else, really): http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0001.html

Does anyone else have any favorites? :)

I read XKCD when the mood hits me but I don't regularly read many web comics.

I read all the comics in the Sunday paper when I was a little for quite a while, at least until I started going to the school library and got hooked on the boxcar children series. >_>

Hyperbole and a Half <3

Is that a comment or a comic?

I enjoy all of those. Everything I know about D&D I learned from Oots!

I used to read a whooole lot of webcomics. So many that I needed a designated folder in my bookmarks to keep them all straight. I'm proud to say that I've cut back quite a bit. Now I have a small group that I follow, and a few others I check on when I remember about them.

By far my favorite is Gunnerkrigg Court. The character design near the beginning is a little... wonky, but the art has evolved wonderfully.

Cool; I'm always happy to check out a new comic. I've finished 8-bit theater, and I'm up-to-date on xkcd and OotS, so a new comic is usually pretty fun :)

I don't know why I didn't mention this before, but...

Since you like OotS you might want to check out anti-HEROES. The art style is inspired by OotS and it's D&D based as well.

Unfortunately, it seems to be going through some... creative troubles currently, which kinda made me double happy the RP spiritual successor is up and running again.

EDIT: It looks like the comic may also have returned. For now, at least.
